6 July 2020 - This week has been a busy one! KSR has been increasingly investing their time into promoting their artists new songs. Earlier this week, Allen W Brown released his new song "Thank You Jesus". When listening to the song I could feel and understand the emotion and love in Allen's voice. Allen raps about his love for Jesus and 'thanks' him. The song is incredibly touching and moving, even from an atheist's perspective. One can find motivation in it. Gfwoody is a very inspirational artist from the talented city of New York and has earned himself over 10,000 plays upon soundcloud alone and will be further embarking on a new journey. He motivates people by making hype music that gets people jumping and by telling others about his story and how he learned from his mistakes (like having too many people in your circle).
In the interview he was asked a few questions about himself and how he would help others get through the music industry without getting crushed down by the haters. He explains deeply how he began growing as an artist by trusting himself and only releasing music that he loves, instead of half heartidly. This young rapper has seen a lot, been through a lot and is finally deciding to change the system.
We can see as a label that he has tons of potential to grown and evolve while trying differnt styles of flow. Theres one thing we know for sure, when you put him in the booth with a good beat, he can create fire and come out with three differnt tracks in one single session. This kind of workrate is an understatement to the talent thriving inside him.
The words he describes such as 'fake friends' are extremely compelling, the fact that hes still a minor but has seen how people and society can act gives this rapper a special edge to the rest. He settles in making music to the best of his ability, and in doing so, creates meaning, purpose and clearly some uncontrollable fire.
